Hatha
Instructor
Rhona
Class Description
An ancient style of yoga. It combines yin and yang energies – “ha” meaning sun/yang and “tha” meaning moon/yin – for a well-rounded practice. With breath assisting us, we flow to asana postures and hold for a few breaths. Expect floor, standing and balancing postures. We will build heat and strength within the body and end in a deep stretch and relaxation. This class is suitable for beginners or those with yoga experience.

Class Description
Vinyasa is our flow or power style of yoga. It combines breath with seamless movement, meaning we move into a new shape with every breath. The philosophy of vinyasa yoga is to explore the temporary nature of things. The creativity of vinyasa offers a different full-body practice each time. Vinyasa prevents injury that can accompany repetitive movements. We will build heat, sweat and strength within the body and increase the heart rate. Expect more difficult asana postures that challenge you and build confidence in your practice. This class is suitable for those with yoga experience.
