Class Description
An ancient style of yoga. It combines yin and yang energies – “ha” meaning sun/yang and “tha” meaning moon/yin – for a well-rounded practice. With breath assisting us, we flow to asana postures and hold for a few breaths. Expect floor, standing and balancing postures. We will build heat and strength within the body and end in a deep stretch and relaxation. This class is suitable for beginners or those with yoga experience.
Yoga Flow
Instructor
Sydney
Class Description
Vinyasa is our flow or power style of yoga. It combines breath with seamless movement, meaning we move into a new shape with every breath. The philosophy of vinyasa yoga is to explore the temporary nature of things. The creativity of vinyasa offers a different full-body practice each time. Vinyasa prevents injury that can accompany repetitive movements. We will build heat, sweat and strength within the body and increase the heart rate. Expect more difficult asana postures that challenge you and build confidence in your practice. This class is suitable for those with yoga experience.

Gentle movement and breathing techniques are also incorporated throughout the class to help the body relax. This practice is a healing approach to reducing stress and anxiety, promoting rest, the health of spine and the organs, digestion, circulation, as well as many other health conditions. This practice helps you feel refreshed and renewed. This class invites all levels.

Studio Etiquette

Get the most out of your yoga practice with these simple rules of etiquette.
Sign-up and Arrival
Sign-up: You can pre-register for classes online, or drop in to sign up. Each class has a maximum of 6 spots, availability is limited! We highly recommend pre-registering for classes as spots may fill up quickly and we wouldn’t want you to miss out on your practice.
Arrival: Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before class starts. It may take a few minutes to check-in, fill up your water bottle, and get your mat and props set up.
Parking and Transportation
There is street parking in the area surrounding the practice. There are also bus routes that run along Bank Street, allowing you to quickly access the practice by bus.
Mats and Props
We recommend bringing your own mat and props to class. If you don’t have one or forget it at home, a limited number of rental mats are available. When setting up, please position your mat onto the floor stickers; this will allow everyone to have enough space for their practice.
Shoes
Everything is more fun barefoot. Please take your shoes off and leave at our studio entrance. You’re also welcome to carry them with you to place in a locker.
Lockers
Please store your belongings in a locker. Our lockers do not have locks, so feel free to bring your own.
Adjustments
Due to COVID-19 adjustments will not be given during the classes.
Please take an adjustment card from us when entering the studio to notify whether or not you are comfortable with physical adjustments. If you would prefer to not have touch-based adjustments, our teachers can give verbal adjustments if an adjustment is necessary.
Late Policy
Students will not be admitted 5 minutes after the start of class. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the start of class and make your way into the studio.
Savasana
Take time at the end of class to envelope yourself in Savasana. If you do need to step out early, please do so in a quiet manner, to not disturb those who wish to stay a little longer.
*We reserve 30 minutes in between each class for COVID-19 cleaning procedures*
