Devon Honywill

Manual Osteopathic Practitioner

Devon found her focus on health and wellness through practicing yoga and pilates in 2010. After finishing an undergrad in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, she completed her yoga teaching training (YTT200) in 2015. With anatomy always the focus of her movement practice, Devon began teaching pilates while searching for a manual therapy that complemented her movement practice. The science behind Osteopathy immediately aligned with the way she viewed health. In 2017 she enrolled in the four-year M.MOMSc program with the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and graduated in 2021. Devon stays connected to both yoga and pilates because they both link the breath to movement and have a unique ability to calm the nervous system.

Devon is constantly searching for new approaches to connect with patients and help them achieve their health goals. Her objective is to provide a service that will leave patients feeling more aligned, healthier, and in less pain. She gives tools to use in everyday living for patients to form new, healthy habits, affecting the overall quality of life. Devon approaches patients from a place of compassion and treats everyone as a unique individual, which helps her understand what the body needs.
